Please pray and raise awareness for Cole Brings Plenty, a Lakota actor and student. He was found on april 5th. This is such an awful and cruel act of violence, im having a hard time finding the words.
April 8th Rising Hearts has organized Braids for Cole, so please wear your hair in braids and bring awareness so that Cole and his family can get justice.

The earthbound drama mediated by pine tree aromas drifts upward and changes the sky. Yearly across the globe, vegetation sends a million million kilograms of aromatic molecules to the air. Isoprene is the most common one from tropical forests, a molecule with a slight aroma of petrol. For pine forests, pinene dominates. This great heavenward exhalation of trees primes the sky for rain. Each aromatic molecule remains in the air for only a few hours before it degrades or is reabsorbed by living beings, but during this time it can become the seed around which raindrops first gather. Some molecules clump together and form seeds directly. Others stick to motes of dust, making the tiny particles stickier and more attractive to water vapour. The sky is partly made of forest. Next time it rains, know that many of the falling raindrops were born on exhalations of trees.

It still makes me so angry that Per Haskell was supposed to make more money from the Ice Court Heist than the Crows. They made four million each and technically owed him six million.
SIX MILLION KRUGE.
SIX.
Like yeah I know that鈥檚 the point and I know that the money ends up being split between Rotty and Specht, I know, I get it, I see the themes, I understand that the books include a very obvious criticism of extreme capitalism and a lot of it is an implied allegory to the American Dream even having passages arguably reminiscent of The Great Gatsby, but knowing that doesn鈥檛 make me less mad!!!

But one of the attributes of love, like art, is to bring harmony and order out of chaos, to introduce meaning and affect where before there was none, to give rhythmic variations, highs and lows to a landscape that was previously flat.
